1997

Robin & Jackie took on the National Trust tenancy of Home Farm. The House & Farm was in poor rundown condition but is now a lovely Georgian Bed & Breakfast , holiday cottage and traditional working farm of 145 acres.

2000

Entered Home farm into the Countryside Stewardship scheme & traditional breed scheme run by English nature.

2002

The National Trust acquired Hillsborough, which is where the Boscastle Farmshop is now situated. Robin farms the 80 acres and Mark and Nikki bought Hillsborough as a derelict Farmhouse and barns. Renovating the Farmhouse to a family home and converting the Barns to holiday cottages.

2003

First farm shop opened at Home Farm. Trading from their famous little summer house. Open all hours. Selling Red Ruby Pedigree Beef.

2005

First Boscastle Food festival set up championing local food producers such as ourselves & Jackie demonstrated how do make a pasty.

2007

Sam joined the family business selling his free range eggs.

2008

Idea for a large Farm shop at Hillsborough.

2009

Second Farm shop opened in Nikki & Marks garage. National Trust approached about using redundant barn at Hillsborough for a large farm shop & Cafe.

2010

Nikki & Jackie, perfected the art of burger and banger making.

2011

Received National Trust and Planning consent for new Farm Shop & Cafe. National Trust fine food award winners.

2012

Successful RDPE rural micro enterprise grant application, and commencement of build. National Trust Fine food award winners.

2013

Boscastle Farm Shop & Cafe opens! Taste of West Gold winners in our cafe 2013 and winner of the Cornish Cafe Trail

2014

Gold in the Taste of the West for the cafe and Silver for the shop. Cornish Cafe finalist. Top Five cream teas in the Country Sunday Times.

2015

Cornwall Tourism Silver Award.

2016

Taste Of The West Gold Award for both the cafe and the shop. Winners of 'Best Overall Tea Room & Cafe in the West Country'. Bronze winners in Cornwall Tourism awards.
