Robin & Jackie took on the National Trust tenancy of Home Farm. The House & Farm was in poor rundown condition but is now a lovely Georgian Bed & Breakfast , holiday cottage and traditional working farm of 145 acres.
Entered Home farm into the Countryside Stewardship scheme & traditional breed scheme run by English nature.
The National Trust acquired Hillsborough, which is where the Boscastle Farmshop is now situated. Robin farms the 80 acres and Mark and Nikki bought Hillsborough as a derelict Farmhouse and barns. Renovating the Farmhouse to a family home and converting the Barns to holiday cottages.
First farm shop opened at Home Farm. Trading from their famous little summer house. Open all hours. Selling Red Ruby Pedigree Beef.
First Boscastle Food festival set up championing local food producers such as ourselves & Jackie demonstrated how do make a pasty.
Sam joined the family business selling his free range eggs.
